Join researchers at the University of Cambridge for the screening of three innovative films on the socioecological impacts of technology, and how we can use new technologies in sustainable and economical ways, reducing the illegal disposal of electronic and hazardous waste.

As part of Cambridge Creative Shorts project for the Festival of Social Sciences 2021 (1-30 November), researchers at the University of Cambridge joined forces with creative professionals to translate their research into a visual language of short films and animations to reach out to wider audiences.

Join us for the screening of three innovative films on the socioecological impacts of technology, and how we can use new technologies in sustainable and economical ways, reducing the illegal disposal of electronic and hazardous waste.

The online event features the launch of the short film and animations with accompanying interviews with researchers. Throughout the screening there will be an opportunity to ask questions to the researchers and creatives over Slido.

The screening will take place online – we’ll share the link and the Slido code with the registered participants closer to the day.
