With elections happening in many countries in 2024, including the UK, John Naughton will chair a panel of experts to discuss what role AI will play and how we mitigate any risks.

Jonnie Penn, best-selling author and AI researcher at Cambridge;

Chris Stokel-Walker, journalist and author

John Naughton is a columnist for the Observer, and a systems engineer by background. He founded the Minderoo Centre for Technology and Democracy and now chairs its advisory board.

The event is being held as part of the Cambridge Festival and is free to attend.
