We have submitted evidence to the UK Parliament for a new inquiry into the future of the UK’s creative industries.

How can the creative industries thrive in an ever-evolving digital society?

The Minderoo Centre for Technology and Democracy has submitted two pieces of written evidence to the UK Parliament Communications and Digital Committee’s inquiry, A Creative Future. This inquiry is examining the future of the UK’s creative industries.

In a fast-changing world, our submissions explore:

The skills required to meet emerging opportunities and challenges, including SHAPE (social sciences, humanities and arts) skills and digital skills, and the role of research and innovation.

The environmental, social, and technological influences and ramifications of the screen arts (film, televisual, and streaming) creative industries, a further submission of evidence by Senior Research Associate Hunter Vaughan.
