Speaking with David Pogue, Prof. Gina Neff was on CBS Sunday Morning to discuss tracking health data through wearable devices.

In this CBS Sunday Morning feature, correspondent David Pogue looks at how self-tracking data may one day help detect conditions like infectious diseases, type II diabetes, heart conditions or even cancer.

In the interview, Prof. Neff stated:

“People who self track are more likely to be connected to other people, and when they are connected to other people they are more likely to be happier.”

Prof. Neff  also raised concerns about who gets to see our medical data:
